Whitetail Bistro Opens at DFW Airport in Terminal D
Paradies Lagardère, the travel retail and restaurateur leader in North America, and Kent Rathbun Concepts, recently opened a new restaurant, Whitetail Bistro, in Dallas Fort Worth International Airport’s (DFW) Terminal D. Together, both companies were awarded the contract for three new restaurants and bars in the DFW Airport. Whitetail Bistro is the first to open.
Whitetail Bistro pays homage to French cuisine with a modern Texas twist. Favorite French classics receive a modern makeover with a menu that utilizes the freshest local ingredients, allowing the spirit of Texas to shine through every bite. Stylish dishes such as the Cornmeal Crusted Texas Catfish “Fish and Chips” with serrano chile-white barbeque tartar sauce, and small plates such as the Chargrilled Pork Albondigos with fire-roasted ranchero and cotija cheese, are on the menu. High-end restaurants, quick-serve restaurants, bars and coffee shops are all a part of Paradies Lagardère’s Food and Beverage concepts. Brands have been tailored to entice travelers with the same familiar quality, variety, taste and atmosphere as their favorite “at home” dining spots, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and service.
Paradies Lagardère was recently awarded three prestigious awards for excellence in Food and Beverage. Airport Revenue News awarded the company an ARN Award for Best Chef-Driven, Local or Regional Restaurant for Bar Symon in the Pittsburgh International Airport.
The USA Today 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards also awarded Paradies Lagardère the Best Airport Bar Wait Staff for its Bar Symon Restaurant in the Pittsburgh International Airport, and recognized Long Beach Airport, where Paradies Lagardère manages the full restaurant program, as its Best Airport for Dining.
