Dallas’ own Midnight Empire has been selected to open for legendary guitarist Slash on his tour stop at the House of Blues in Dallas, TX on Saturday, September 8, 2012.

Guitar Center’s annual competition provides unsigned artists the chance to open for established artists such as Motley Crue, KISS, and Jane’s Addiction. This year, Guitar Center and Slash are giving 20+ unsigned bands the chance to open up for Slash on his summer/fall tour.

Midnight Empire secured the much sought after opening slot on Slash’s tour by entering Guitar Center OnStage and subsequently being handpicked from thousands of entries by Slash himself.

At the end of the tour, the top performing act of the twenty opening bands (all chosen through the OnStage program) will be selected to win the grand prize of $30,000.
