Ticket Release Dates for Free Night of Theater

Want free tickets to the theater? In its third year, The Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs has partnered with Theater Communications Group to bring you a Free Night of Theater during the month of October.

Over 20 theaters in Dallas are releasing 2,000 tickets to shows and performances. If you’ve never experienced live theater, now’s your chance to go for free and see if you like it! Veteran theater goers are highly encouraged to attend a show at a theater company they have never been to before.

Reserving tickets is easy but they are first come, first serve. Here’s how it works:

  1. Every Monday at noon a set of tickets are released for the week’s shows.
  2. Visit freenightoftheater.net/shows to find a show and reserve your tickets online.
  3. Your tickets will be held at the box office and can be picked up the night of the show.
