Following award-winning success, Dallas’ eminent Jamaican Kitchen and Bar, The Island Spot, recently expanded beyond its Carrollton location to open its second location at The Jefferson Tower development in Oak Cliff. This location boasts 3,600 sq. ft. of upstairs/downstairs dining, patio seating, modern rustic aesthetics, and a signature Rum Bar.

Now nestled at the corner of Jefferson and Madison Ave., The Island Spot was specially sought after following an impressive showing at Taste of Dallas. Thomas aspires that the historical roots embedded within The Island Spot, will not only fuse with Oak Cliff’s appeal for ethnic businesses, but also boost economic traction to the growing Jefferson Boulevard area.

In addition to its award-winning jerk chicken and notoriety for dishing one of the top 100 dishes in DFW, the Island Spot will hail as the official Rum Bar destination for DFW. The Rum Bar will stock over 25 unique Caribbean rums, along with an offering of rum flights and specialty rum cocktails on its Rum Bar menu.

With the expansion, patrons can expect authentic Jamaican cuisine, an expansive Sunday brunch menu, live music entertainment (on specified dates), events, and the traditional relaxing ambiance of the islands.
