Did you know that nearly 1 in 4 children in North Texas will go hungry today? Unless you are already familiar with the incredible work the North Texas Food Bank does than you may not know the shocking statistics. The face of the food insecure is not what it was 10 years ago. Hardworking individuals are struggling every minute to put food on the table and that’s where they come in! NTFB services affiliate agencies and provides food for pantries and schools all across the metroplex. Each year the NTFB houses over 20,000 volunteers who serve are the muscle to box and sort the donated food items for those in need. While they host numerous events throughout the year, such as Empty Bowls, the Taste of the NFL brings together top named chefs and Cowboys players for the tailgate of all tailgates and this year is sure to not disappoint!

Returning to its legendary roots, the 2015 Taste of the NFL will be held at AT&T Stadium. The event will feature past and present Dallas Cowboys players, Abacus restaurant executive chef and proprietor Kent Rathbun and more than a dozen of the area’s hottest chefs. Support the North Texas Food Bank’s children’s programs as you enjoy gourmet tailgating fare and games, signature cocktails, live entertainment, silent and live auction. It’s a party with purpose! Since its inception in 2005, Taste of NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party has raised more than 1.61 million for hungry North Texas children.
