Strokes for a Cure Benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Strokes for a Cure is an event featuring two artists: a musician and a painter. Together they will originate a work of art for a worthy cause. Seth Simmons, pianist, will play his original compositions while Rolando Diaz, Cuban-American artist, paints an original oil on canvas. A silent auction for the painting will follow their performance. Strokes for a Cure is a benefit for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

In the middle of North Texas existed this beautiful space for people to relax in the shade and listen to the water from the fountains. The Park, situated on the bluffs and overlooking the Trinity River, has been closed off since April 2007 due to its lack of maintenance and safety concerns.

alley's house 5th Annual Art Auction

In its 5th year, alley’s house will be presenting its Annual Art Auction this Saturday, February 7th from 7-10pm. The Auction will be at the American Fine Art Gallery, 1611 Dragon Street, Dallas, TX 75207

Art works will be available for viewing one week prior to and following the event at American Fine Art Gallery or online at alleyshouse.org. Tickets may be purchased either at the door ($30) or online ($25).
