This year will mark the 16th anniversary of the Oktoberfest celebration hosted by Southlake’s Chamber of Commerce. Over 100,000 people visit throughout the weekend festival! Attendance is completely free — there are no admissions or parking fees. However, there will be a wide range of food, beverages, and booth items available for purchase.

Ms. Lisa Fischer is finally stepping back into the spotlight again — at last. After four decades of singing background for icons like the Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, and Nine Inch Nails, Lisa is finally offering her own humble, heartfelt song, accompanied by her inventive new band Grand Baton.

Arcade Fire will bring their “Infinite Content” tour to the American Airlines Center next week. Their extensive concert trek promotes their fifth studio album Everything Now.

The tour, produced by Live Nation features a series of special guests including Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Phantogram, Angel Olsen, and Broken Social Scene. Wolf Parade is the featured opening act for their night in Dallas.

The 11th Annual Dallas Salsa Congress (D.S.C.) will take place later this month and is open to the public.
