The Dallas Film Society has announced the first 10 films chosen to screen at the 7th edition of the Dallas International Film Festival, presented by AutoNation Volkswagen Dealers on April 4 – 14, 2013.

Register Now for the Dallas Twestival, a global festival organized by local individuals to get people offline and bring people together for a cause. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds benefit The Women’s Museum.

A Twestival or Twitter-Festival is a global series of events organized by volunteers around the world under short timescales via Twitter, which bring people offline for a great cause. Twestival is run 100% by volunteers and independently from any not-for-profit; although the organizing teams do work closely to outline an achievable and measurable fundraising target.

Who doesn’t love House of Dang? They throw bad-ass parties, make their own line of clothes, and have vintage finds that only exist in family heirlooms.

House of Dang will be showing off their new line of designs with agency talent from Campbell-Wagner Runway LLC.

The Runway Monday event is Monday, August 31st at The Mitchell Lofts. Show starts at 7pm and there’s an afterparty at Vapiano in Mockingbird Station at 9pm.

It’s true! Mockingbird Station will host its own farmers’ market, beginning on April 22nd from 5-8pm. To kick off the market, and to educate you about going green, the Station will be offering a workshop to educate you on energy, recycling and conservation. Urban Outfitters + American Apparel will also have a sidewalk sale featuring environmental friendly products. Oh, did you know April 22nd is Earth Day?
