Dallas Art Dealers Association Fall Gallery Walk

The Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA) presents its annual Fall Gallery Walk and Panel Discussions this Saturday, September 12th.

Get on your bike or go by foot to visit some of DADA’s member galleries, museums, and nonprofit art spaces around the Dallas area from 2-8pm. Start at any of the DADA member locations and pick up a map or download the map online.

The Art of Dr. Seuss is a National touring exhibition honoring the 100th Seussentennial celebration… and it’s coming to Dallas! Storyopolis Fine Art and The 4th Wall Gallery invite you to discover the wildly imaginary work of Theodor Seuss Geisel.

The exhibit chronicles 70 years of artistic creations, including rare early works of poetry, advertising works, WWII editorial cartoons, magazine covers from the 1920’s & 1930’s, his collection of unorthodox taxidermy, the Secret Art, and never-before-seen works from Seuss’s personal archives. What a treasure this will be!

ArtScape: A Fine Art Fair in the Garden at the Dallas Arboretum

ArtScape is the Dallas Arboretum’s fine art and craft show and sale. This weekend (March 21st and 22nd) is the two-day art fair featuring artists from around the country, wine tasting and food. The ArtScape Festival is during Dallas Blooms, the premier floral festival in the Soutwest and listed on MSNBC’s top ten things to do in American in the spring. Dallas Blooms is already in its third week and will run through April 14th.

1st Thursdays Art Walk on Dragon Street

Many of the Dragon Street businesses will be extending their hours until 8pm every 1st Thursday of the month in celebration of the arts and community. Their hope is to get the word out about the art scene on Dragon Street – home to various art galleries, antique, imports and floral shops.
