Stars & Stripes Film Festival, Nov. 12 – 15
Roll out the red carpet because the second annual Stars & Stripes Film Festival begins today! From tonight through Sunday, the festival will feature four days of inspiring films and appearances from special guests like Gen. Tommy Franks, the original Windtalkers and others.
Proceeds benefit Dallas-based Sons of the Flag, a resource for military and first-responder burn survivors.
10 fantastic films will be shown at the festival, which you can see the lineup here. Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing Zero Dark Thirty, kid-friendly film Max and The Bridges at Toko-Ri.Â
Tickets are $10 per person for each flick and the purchase will help raise funds for burn survivors. All veterans are admitted FREE to ALL screenings! Movies take place at the Angelika Film Center located at 5321 E. Mockingbird Ln., Dallas, TX 75206. Hope to see you there!
