The third annual 2016 Stars & Stripes Film Festival, benefiting Sons of the Flag, kicks off this Friday on Veterans Day.

The three-day festival will be held at the Highland Park Village Theatre. The festival is a rare opportunity to watch movies about the United States Armed Forces and sit in on interactive discussions with decorated veterans who fought in the battles being shown on film and experts in the field. Movies this year include An Officer and a Gentleman, Iron Eagle, South Pacific and more.

Sons of the Flag is a Dallas based non-profit founded by former Navy SEAL Ryan “Birdman” Parrott. Sons of the Flag is committed to supporting Military, First-Responder and Civilian Burn Survivors and their families.
