Scarborough Renaissance Festival goes Celtic April 20th & 21st
April 20th & 21st is Celtic Weekend and Scarborough Renaissance Festival invites visitors to join in the fun. The weekend will include a Bonnie Knees contest, Scottish Egg eating contest, and a tug-o-war! You can sign up by 12:00 noon each day at the front gate to participate. There will also be special Celtic guest performers. Pictus, with their unique take on primal drums and Highland bagpipes, along with the Shandon O’Reagan School of Irish Dancers will be in attendance this weekend only!  At 11:30 each day Franconia Brewing will be conducting a keg tapping event as well.
In celebration of Easter, kids can participate in our Easter Scavenger Hunt each day. On Easter Sunday, there will be a special 16th Century church service at 12:00 noon on the Crown Meadow Stage.

Scarborough Renaissance Festival is interactive fun for everyone, 16th Century Style. Visitors will enjoy full combat armored jousting, Birds of Prey exhibitions, 25+ stages of interactive and unique entertainment, the Mermaid Lagoon, Renaissance Combat competitions and Knighting ceremonies. There are also Renaissance rides, games of skill, food & drink fit for a king and so much more!
Admission is $28 for adults and $13 for children, ages 5-12. Children age 4 and under are admitted free. Parking is free. Tickets are available on-line, but discount tickets can be purchased at North Texas Tom Thumb & Albertsons stores.
