Something for Kelly Annual Benefit Gala
The Something for Kelly foundation invites all of their partners, community activists, and supporters to join us for our Annual Benefit Gala in Dallas, April 28, 2016.
Their mission is to empower children ages 6-12 to take control of their predisposition to eating disorders. Established in 2013, the foundation is geared towards preventing eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating and body dysmorphic disorder. The most aggressive and deadliest of all eating disorders – anorexia nervosa – affects 1 in every 100 girls, with recent studies showing girls as young as 8 being hospitalized with the condition. Through its programs and services, the foundation is committed to rebalancing the lives of children in this age demographic so that the grim prospects don’t materialize.
This year’s fundraiser will feature renown speaker Michal Berg, CEO of Spirituality for Kids, and will include a silent auction, dinner and a live band for guests from North Texas. Sponsors and donors will receive recognition and logo placement in our event program, website, and on signage at the event with a description of the donated items.
Join them for an opportunity to connect, participate, invest, and lead the achievement of ending this devastating disease.
