Snappy Salads, the paper straw-loving, nutrition-serving restaurant, will open its second Fort Worth location at 1664 S. University Drive just south of University Park Village. Snappy Salads was established in 2006 and has 15 locations throughout north Texas and Houston.

Snappy Salads has created a niche in the land of barbecue and fried chicken by offering a wide variety of entrée salads using honest ingredients that easily satisfy every appetite. Guests can select menu favorites, such as the bestselling Grilled Avocado Salad with Chipotle Lime Vinaigrette, or create their own salad with the ability to add sautéed wild-caught Alaskan salmon, grass-fed beef tenderloin, grilled all-natural chicken, and more. Lettuce is fresh cut, dressings are made in house, and soups are crafted from scratch.

The University Drive location is scheduled to open the first week of September and will offer indoor and outdoor seating, catering, call-ahead and online ordering. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
