Slow Children Crossing Stops By Dallas

This Saturday, December 19, at 8:00, the Black Academy of Arts and Letters at the Dallas Convention Center will host “Slow ChildrenSlow Children Crossing Crossing,” a sketch comedy troupe that hails from Los Angeles, California.  Described as “inappropriate Humor for all,” this troupe consists of 5 comedians from across the country who bring their unique blend of irreverent humor to the stage, and put together a show where nothing is off limits, and even less is sacred.  With comedic sketches that cover everything from race and politics, to religion and sex, this is a group that has received critical acclaim across the country.  In addition to their recognition in several publications, Slow Children Crossing has also been the focus of a film by award winning French filmmaker Maya Schweizer entitled “Before the Rehearsal” this year.

This 5 person group will perform one show only, entitled “Common People,” and say that their show is where “in Living Color meets Kids in the Hall.”  Tickets are available by visiting www.ticketmaster.com or www.tbaal.org.
