Okrapalooza 2018 will take place this year on September 9th at The LOT in East Dallas. This is the 9th year to bring together Dallas’ top chefs together for a cook off for the best okra dishes. This event raises funds for community members to have access to quality, nutritious foods.

Food experiences featuring incredible okra tastings and summer side dishes will be the main attraction. However, there will also be live music. This year’s theme is The Beatles. Come and experience one of the best food and music festivals in Dallas!

Okrapalooza is produced by Promise of Peace, (P.O.P.) Gardens. P.O.P. was established in 2009 based on the belief in healthy food, well-being, and quality education as fundamental human rights. More info on P.O.P.
