Nothing fishy here! Sea Breeze rolls out new menu.

Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill, located in Plano, began in 2007 as a fish market and fast-casual restaurant. As the only concept of its kind in Plano (still to this day), Sea Breeze expanded to a full-service restaurant in 2011. I stopped by for a tasting of the new menu and learned people from all across the region drive in frequently to Sea Breeze for the freshest fish around.

The restaurant offers a full bar and has a list of wine recommendations to pair with your meal. And, that includes a variety of red wine that (gasp!) pair well with fish. So put your wine stereotypes aside…the team at Sea Breeze has got you covered!

Much of the fish here is brought in from the East Coast; always fresh and never frozen! (The only items you may get frozen are some shrimp and catfish, but the fish is always, always fresh!) The store rolled out an updated menu this month and a list of brand new cocktails. Here’s a look at some of the items we sampled:

New England Style Lobster Roll – a delicious and buttery toasted roll stuffed with lobster salad (available an appetizer and entree)

Sea scallops wrapped in bacon (How is that for a Texan/New England mix??)

Atlantic salmon served with a side of sweet potatoes and veggies

One of the newest cocktails, the Sunset Lemonade. Heavy on the raspberry flavor (which to me is delicious!) and includes Bombay Sapphire, Lillet Blanc and topped with lemonade. Catch their happy hour with $6 cocktails on Mondays – Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m.

The menu at Sea Breeze is extensive, so you’ll certainly find something to please your taste buds from salmon to shellfish and lobster to oysters…and more! Guests can also check out the daily specials menu, featuring seasonal items each day on a rotating menu. (And that includes the upcoming halibut season beginning March 22 and the current crawfish season, which all crawfish is brought here from Louisana.)

Customers can also sign up for Sea Breeze’s cooking classes that offered twice a month on Sundays (3-5 p.m.). Each class is $50 per person and includes preparing three dishes, dessert and wine. You’ll have lots to take home! Check the website for dates and to make reservations.

Sea Breeze is located at 4017 Preston Rd #530, Plano, TX 75093.
