Wednesday, October 15th at 7pm – One night; two great histories. One foreseen and another in the making.

Richard Stolley, former editor of Life magazine, takes us back to November 22nd, 1963, when he learned about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and how he secured publication rights to the Abraham Zapruder film of that tragic event. The program also features TV, radio and oral history clips from the Museum collection.

Stay after the program and watch the final presidential debate on the Museum’s big screen.

The event is free and open to the public. For seating reservations, call 214-747-6660, ext. 6625, or e-mail [email protected].

The Sixth Floor Museum’s mission is fortified through lectures, presentations, panel discussions and other public programs. Designed to be creative and engaging, these unique programs advance the Museum’s commitment to community outreach, engagement and learning, and empower a diverse audience to understand how and why the past is still relevant.
