Duh dun da da da da dun dun…tequilaaaaa. That’s the theme of one of the tangiest, tipsiest (yes, it’s a word) events this year. Dallas folk, prepare your livers for this years Margarita Meltdown.

Going on its third year in Dallas, Margarita Meltdown is a cut-throat cut-lime competition between some of the best restaurants and bars in the Dallas area. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample margaritas from over 30 restaurants and vote on their favorite via text message. That’s a lot of tequila and lime, people. The winning bartenders win a $1000 cash prize and bragging rights to the title of “Best Margarita in Dallas”.

In addition to the drool-worthy competition, live music will be played all day. The party starts at 5 PM on Sunday, May 25th (the perfect ending to Memorial Day weekend, in my opinion) and Tickets are just $30. Go ahead and just purchase one now. Because you have Monday off!
