Accio Potter fans! LeakyCon 2018, the largest-ever fan convention for Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, will take place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX, Friday, August 10 through Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Following a wildly successful 2017 event in Dublin, Ireland, LeakyCon returns to the United States and, for the first time, will bring its magic to Texas. Featuring some of the biggest fans, actors, and creators, LeakyCon will host panels, interviews, discussions, and celebrations of “The Boy Who Lived” and the extraordinary impact his story has had on both the Wizarding and Muggle worlds.

In an impressive opening move, LeakyCon has announced that Harry Potter film actor Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) will join the LeakyCon 2018 special guest lineup. While he is currently the only verified guest, additional special guests will be announced in the near future.

In addition to their revelation of Rankin’s appearance, LeakyCon released the initial band lineup for the Friday night Wizard Rock concerts. The stage will feature Texas natives “The Mudbloods”, crowd favorites “Tonks and the Aurors”, and “Draco and the Malfoys”. Additional bands will be announced at a later date.

Since its first event in 2009, LeakyCon has brought together tens of thousands of Harry Potter fans, providing a fun, vibrant, and safe space to enjoy the things they love. LeakyCon has been held in cities across the United States, from Boston and Orlando to Portland and Burbank, as well as internationally in London and Dublin.
