This low lying hideaway is located on the edge of downtown Dallas is the Belmont Hotel. Resting on a hill, the Belmont’s patio bar provides a premier seat to view a sunset reflected across the Dallas skyline. Next door to the property lies one of Dallas’s best kept secrets as well, Smoke. The restaurant is run by Chef Tim Byres, who previously worked with Stephen Pyles and at the Mansion.

Special Tidbits: Whatever your preconceptions of the Belmont Hotel’s location leave it at home. I personally have visited this hotel several times and have absolutely no worries parking my car amongst the Jaguars, Mercedes and Cadi’s.
