Fresh Mediterranean cuisine at Afrah Restaurant (Irving and Richardson)

We stopped by Afrah Mediterranean Restaurant for a menu sampling and to meet with the owner to learn about the restaurant’s unique story. The owners, three brothers originally from Lebanon, feature a menu full of recipes created by their mother. Offering a feast for the senses, it’s no wonder they were featured on Guy Fieri’s show “Triple D.”

The restaurant offers a large variety of food, many of which is made in-house including the delicious bread, sauces, dips (including the popular hummus served here!) and more. If you are new to eating Mediterranean, there is plenty of menu items to sample from. Plus, the overall Mediterranean diet is full of health benefits.

If you’re a long-time fan of this type of food,  you won’t be disappointed with the selections here.
