Metal Band Drowning Pool to Release New Record & Bartend for Charity at the Boiler Room

Drowning Pool is hosting their record release show on April 3, 2013 at the Boiler Room in Dallas. The band will be doing an acoustic set at 7 p.m. followed by a meet and greet. Then at 8 p.m. the band will be bartending the rest of the evening with all the proceeds of the $5 donation to enter going to USO.

All-American and multi-platinum anthemic rockers Drowning Pool will be releasing Resilience, Drowning Pool Resilience Dallas Release Partytheir fifth studio album and third with Eleven Seven Music on April 9, 2013.

Their patent arena-ready, fist-pumping hard rock remains intact even as they welcome new singer Jasen Moreno into the fold. Make no mistake about it, this is Drowning Pool at their most focused, fiery, and fierce. The album’s lead single “Saturday Night” is currently climbing the active rock radio chart and the band recently premiered an additional track, “One Finger and a Fist” on WWE’s Slammy Awards.

Guitarist CJ Pierce says, “We cannot begin to tell you how excited we are to be heading out on the road again in support of our new CD Resilience, due out in April.
