Local brews for Del Frisco’s Grille’s Beer Social

If you’re looking for a new place to make some new friends, come by Del Frisco’s Grille this Thursday, to check out their new lineup of social events in Uptown.  Their newest idea, the Beer Social, is an event for everyone to enjoy some of DFG’s newest food creations with local brews, and mingle around with others in a carefree environment, where you’re not tied to your table.  The event will feature six unique appetizers and six local beers, all at various stations, allowing you to roam and socialize with others.  Brewery representatives will be present from Community, Four Corners, and Revolver, as well.  Four Corners is also debuting their new beer, DFG (Does Food Good) Pale Ale, which is a well-balanced Citra-hopped pale ale that still maintains a strong malt backbone, but also is still easy to drink.  Each beer provided will be accompanied by a special chef-selected appetizer.  This is just the beginning of a string of planned social events from DFG, in addition to their previously held Woodford Reserve Whiskey Social.  Keep an eye out for more social events and beer dinners from DFG in the future.

Five-spiced pulled pork Banh mi with cold crunchy pickled slaw and sticky sweet hoisin glaze

Community Razzy Raspberry Wit (5.5%, 14 IBUs)
Ahi tuna and scallop crudo topped with crispy wontons  and refreshing watermelon relish

Four Corners DFG Pale Ale (5.5%, ?? IBUs)
Steamed lobster flatbreads with a decadent Fontina cheese and lobster crema sauce

Four Corners Heart of Texas Red Ale (6.2%, 36 IBUs)
Espresso-bean rubbed tenderloin with scallion pesto served on grilled toast points

Revolver Bock (6.5%, 28 IBUs)
Caribbean jerk chicken skewers served with sweet-spicy mango-tomatillo salsa

Revolver Blood and Honey Wheat Ale (7.0%, 20 IBUs)
Artisan corn grit cakes topped with smoked shrimp and drizzled with a tangy citrus reduction
