Starting The New Year Off Right: 5th Annual Dallas Observer Artopia

hm_imageAs the Dallas arts scene continues to grow, we are in high anticipation of the first arts related event of the New Year. Artopia is a celebration of Dallas Culture and Art that incorporates food, drink, art, music and fashion into one night.

Guests can expect to have a good time with entertainment provided by French 75, George Quartz, DJ Sober; fashion courtesy of Beaus and Ribbons, Nine Muses Collection and Status; along with food and drink samplings from local Dallas restaurants.

Aside from the sensory overload full of culture, fashion, visual art, performing arts and more, the highlight of the evening is that it’s all for a good cause. The Dallas Observer will be giving out their annual MasterMind Awards, presenting over $6,000 in grants to local artists for their service to the Arts and the community. The goal is to honor the current, cutting-edge works of local visual artists, performing artists, artisans, filmmakers, arts advocates — anyone making a tangible impact on the arts community.
