Dallas Fan Days overcame the odds to put on another great show at the Irving Convention Center. Four of the main actors set to make an appearance, including headliner Matt Smith, canceled just a few weeks prior to the event due to scheduling conflicts. This may seem like devastating news to an expo that has approximately ten celebrity guests set to appear but the organizers did a great job of mending the issue. In an unsuspecting move they were able to secure David Tennant, arguably the best Doctor in the series, and several other prominent television actors.

While the guests, organization, and activities were great the cosplayers really put the event over the top. You could find almost every character imaginable in attendance. There was anyone from a Disney princess to a meshed Predator/Iron Man concept. It was beyond satisfying to watch cosplayers interact without ever breaking character. I look forward to seeing what everyone has in store for Fan Expo Dallas next spring!
