Next Saturday and Sunday, February 13th and 14th, pop culture convention Dallas Comic Con Fan Days will take over the Irving Convention Center.

If you’re into comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, gaming, or simply just dressing up like your favorite movie character like I do, this is the place to be.

This two day event will be filled with nerds, fan boys, and avid cosplayers alike looking to geek out together over interactive workshops and celebrity sightings like cast of Arrow, The Flash, and Star Trek, just to name a few! 

There will even be a Sci-Fi Speed Dating portion to incorporate the Valentine’s Day spirit for all of the romantic fans in the crowd. I have a feeling there are going to be quite a few interesting matches made among the various cosplay characters!

One of the highlighted displays that I can’t wait to check out is the Star Wars Universe Panel Panel and full scale landspeeder replica. Especially after seeing the most recent Star Wars Force Awakens, I can’t wait to try blasting a Stormtrooper!
