Something Succulent for September – Dallas Chocolate Festival 2017

Dallas Chocolate Festival 2017

We’ve added a new permanent listing to our evergreen Dallas festivals list. Thinking about all the truffles we’ve missed, discovering this festival has been bitter sweet. This annual festival has been in existence, at least on a larger scale, for the past four years (2013), and possibly on a smaller scale since 2009! Welp, you live and you learn.

We’ve going to make up for lost time and lick our lips until September 8th when Dallas Chocolate Festival 2017 kick off party happens. The main event will be held at The Fashion Industry Gallery on September 9th, and carries on until the 10th. F.I.G. is located at 1807 Ross Ave in the Arts District of downtown.

From his LinkedIn profile, Dallas Chocolate Festival Founder Sander Wolf appears to have had a long and stable career as a Systems Engineer. He also was trained in music engineering at Berklee College of Music. He just happens to be passionate about chocolate. With his background, we assume he pays attention to detail and nuance.

Some of the features include a Friday night cocktail party and chocolate cake walk.  These gourmet cakes will be from known Dallas restaurants with names such as the Hotel Intercontinental, FT33, chocolatier Zach Townsend, and Chocolate Secrets will be showcasing.

Currently listed to be showcased at the event are 17 chocolate makers, 13 chocolatiers, and 20 other vendors that don’t quite fit exclusively in those categories.  This list will likely grow leading up to the event. For more information, and to buy your tickets, visit:
