Here is a Little Eye Candy From This Past Weekend’s Dallas Art Fair 2014
For art connoisseurs near and far, The Dallas Art Fair held at Fashion Industry Gallery this past weekend was the place to be. More than ninety galleries descended on Dallas to show paintings, sculptures and other artworks.
Among the many was the work of local artist Irby Pace, presented by Galleri Urbane. The use of colored smoke bombs in his POP! series depicts a striking sense of chaos and beauty.
A personal favorite was Beatriz Esguerra Art. The Colombian gallery featured the work of Max-Steven Grossman. His “Bookscapes†series, libraries that exist only in his photographs made me want a collection of my own to hang in the space I’ve been meaning to convert to a library but haven’t quite gotten around to doing yet.
Ironically, located inside the HUS Gallery from London was a piece with ties to Dallas.
With so much talent on display, it was extremely difficult to narrow the list of which ones to highlight in this post. Here are a few more snapshots of my favorites.
