Classical meets jazz this weekend when the Dallas Symphony plays with Grammy Award-winning saxophone player Branford Marsalis.

Marsalis, alongside the DSO, will perform John Williams’ Escapades for Saxophone and Orchestra, originally written for the hit film Catch Me If You Can, and Glazunov’s Concerto for Alto Sax. This is one performance jazz lovers and symphony-goers shouldn’t pass up! Music Director Emeritus Andrew Litton returns to lead the DSO for the rare event and a performance of Richard Strauss‘ lush tone poem Aus Italien.
Ticket prices range from a modest $22/pp all the way up to $111/pp. Click here to purchase tickets through the Dallas Symphony Orchestra site.
