Dallas’ first annual celebration of Social Media Day will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. June 30 at The Social House in Addison. This conference is NOT going to be another one of those blah blah blah newbie conferences. This event is for everyone, no matter what your skill level or technical ability.

CoHabitat, a Dallas coworking space for tech startups, freelancers, and entrepreneurs in Uptown, is hosting an Oktoberfest celebration this Friday that is sure to spark a new tradition in the Dallas tech scene.

Since Ignite’s inception in 2006, the Seattle-bred event has been scheduled in over 100 cities around the world. Dallas made that list back in March 2010, with a second round on June 2nd. Feb. 23rd will mark the third evening of high energy and professional and personal insight. Seventeen different personalities will get on stage one after the other and share with the audience a piece of their lives and in just a very short period of time. 5-minutes to be exact!
