This weekend marks ZestFest’s 18th year in operation. This fest/exhibitor trade show for restaurant owners, and literal taste makers from all over the country attracts 1,000s a year. 100+ Fantastic Dallas-Fort Worth (D-FW) Festivals & Events with Official 2018 Dates
Panicking because you don’t have a weekend in-Dallas date idea? Need to know what to do with the spouse and kids a few weeks in advance? This is your list. This list is also for those festival junkies that like to #festhard all year long. We’ve meticulously poured through 130+ websites to get you these official 2018 dates of 90 D-FW festivals as early in 2018 as we could. It’s not everything, but those that have their dates listed on what should be their first place to disseminate info, their website.
These aren’t just any Dallas-Fort Worth festivals & events either, this is a curated list of which 70% – 80% we’ve attended or promoted over the last 13 years. Thus, we can vouch for the festival or events’ legitimacy. Secondly, to further authenticate this list, most of these festivals listed have stood the test of time. Except for possibly one or two of which 2018 is their inaugural year, many have occurred annually for many years (a handful for as much as 30 years). It took us living in Dallas, keeping our eyes and ears open, attending winners and the duds to identify some of the best that D-FW has to offer.

29th Annual Taste of North Texas Sizzles in Denton October 14th
The Denton Kiwanis Club’s most anticipated event, the Taste of North Texas is scheduled for March 29 inside the Golden Triangle Mall. For one price you will be able to sample food and drinks from approximately 35 local restaurants. If you have never attended, you that you will not be disappointed.
The Denton Kiwanis Club was chartered December 6, 1921. The club formed the Denton Kiwanis Club Children’s Clinic in 1923 and has continuously provided free medical, prescription and dental assistance to the children of northern Denton County. Proceeds from this event are used to support the efforts of the clinic and other youth services that the club provides.
25th Annual Austin Film Festival Inspires the Art of Screenwriting October 25th-November 1st
