The Cavern on Lower Greenville

The Cavern on Lower Greenville

The Cavern is a two-story, tiny bar on Lower Greenville. It’s named after the original Cavern that the Beatles made their start in. It’s easy to miss, sandwiched between some dance clubs and restaurants across the street from Taco Cabana. The Cavern is definitely a dive bar. It’s dark, dingy and there’s Beatles memorabilia everywhere.

Good Records

Good Records

Good Records is definitely a unique Dallas place to check out. It is an independent music store located at 1808 Lower Greenville. It is a small, inviting store, tucked away from the street. Inside, random cotton candy colors and rows of light bulbs decorate the walls and CD racks. Good Records is known for their selection. Think of an obscure band… They probably carry it!

Bike Friendly Oak Cliff

Bike Friendly Oak Cliff

Bike Friendly Oak Cliff is a group of bicycle advocates promoting the creation of better cycling facilities in Oak Cliff. They are gaining quite a large following in a short period of time. The group has successfully raised money to install bike racks at popular hang outs in the Bishop Arts District.

Their next ride is planned for March 29th. They will be traveling to locations made historically significant by the infamous couple Bonnie and Clyde. I recommend coming out and enjoying a lovely spring day supporting this influential group.
