The Amon Carter Museum Presents Photographer Barbara Crane: Challenging Vision

The Amon Carter Museum presents today Barbara Crane: Challenging Vision, the first major retrospective in more than 25 years of the photographer’s work. This exhibition features nearly 200 photographs, from Crane’s internationally heralded early studies of human form through her chronicle of Chicago city life to her recent explorations of nature. The exhibition will be on view through May 10, 2009, before moving on to the organizer’s venue, the Chicago Cultural Center.

L’ Francaise de Dallas will be presenting the film L’homme Du Train on Thursday, February 26, 7:00 pm at The MAC. The event is free and open to the public.

Man on the Train, as known in the US, won audience awards at the Venice Film Festival for “Best Film” and “Best Actor” (Jean Rochefort) in 2002. The film was officially released in the US in 2003 and grossed over $2.5M in theaters. Miramax Films is producing an English remake of this film.
