This September The AT&T PAC Welcomes Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra To DFW
Something huge is coming to the AT&T Performing Arts Center next month. You might even say that it is an event of Jurassic proportions. Terrible puns aside, DFW will have an opportunity to hear some amazing music performed by Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. The concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Strauss Square in the downtown Dallas Arts District.
Actor Jeff Goldblum has been lending his uniquely wry charm and unpredictable edge to films like “Jurassic Park,†“The Fly,†“The Big Chill†and “The Grand Budapest Hotel†for more than four decades. However, he’s also an accomplished pianist who shows off his chops in a jazz show-meets-musical hootenanny with his band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. The quintet’s guitar, bass, sax, and drums complement Goldblum’s piano prowess and electric personality for a high-energy traditional jazz music performance that brings the audience to its feet. A captivating and hilarious performer, Goldblum’s quirk, intelligent and suave humor makes for an incredibly special evening!
Whether performing regularly at Los Feliz’s Rockwell Table and Stage, or elsewhere, Goldblum will take your questions, ask you trivia questions, and play classic jazz. The evening typically features Goldblum on piano, John Storie on guitar, James King on tenor saxophone, Alex Frank on bass, Joe Bagg on organ and Kenny Elliott on drums, along with special guests.
Ticket prices for Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra range from $49.50 to $150.00 and can currently be purchased online at www.attpac.org, by phone at 214-880-0202 or in person at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Winspear Opera House Box Office (located at 2403 Flora Street). The Box Office is open 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and before performances – closed Saturdays and Sundays.
