After drawing a crowd of over 80,000 last year, the City of Allen has your summer covered by once again throwing DFW’s biggest summer party with Dallas’ best party bands! Keeping the tradition of being “First to the Fourth,” the 2018 Market Street Allen USA Celebration will be held on the last Saturday in June, kicking off Independence Day festivities early with this year’s annual event beginning at 4 p.m. on June 30th at Celebration Park in Allen. This fun, family-friendly celebration is free to attend and open to all ages, featuring two stages of live music, exciting new activity zones, the chance to meet another Cowboy wide receiver, diverse food selections and one of North Texas’ most exhilarating fireworks displays choreographed to contemporary and patriotic music.

The main stage’s musical lineup will begin with a performance from Infinite Journey, an international Journey tribute band. Following will be The M80s, rocking out to all of your favorite 80s hits. Back by an overwhelming demand, headlining this year’s event will once again be the Emerald City Band, voted the best live party band in the United States, playing your favorite Top 40 hits and more! New to this year’s event is the Ninja Challenge presented by Ninja Nation. Participants will have the opportunity to make their way through a world class obstacle course, testing their ninja skills to see if they can make it to the finish line. There will also be the opportunity to meet American Ninja Warrior Karsten Williams, Elliott Jolivette and many other local competitors from the show! Also new to this summer’s event will be Pop-Up Performances presented by Chick-fil-A Allen, providing exciting “pop-up” entertainment throughout the day.

Artists, dancers and performers will entertain guests at the various activity zones, providing a new element of excitement to further enhance the party atmosphere. Back again for a second year will be the “Are You as Tough as a Cowboy?” Combine Challenge, giving participants the opportunity to compete in NFL combine drills, such as the 40-yard dash, vertical jump and pro-agility shuttle, for a chance win a $500 Market Street gift card and meet Cowboy wide receiver Lance Lenoir. Following tradition, this summer’s event will feature the popular PFS Military Zone, Allen American Sports Zone and The Dinosaur Company Jurassic Zone. Also, a diverse range of food vendors will provide options that will delight all tastes in the Food Zone presented by Boxed. Wrapping up the evening will be an unforgettable fireworks display set to popular music. The fireworks show also includes ground effects that can only be experienced from Celebration Park.
