About this Event:
As the U.S. stock market continues to struggle, business people are nervous about the bad economic news and its impact on their portfolios. Many investors remain dazed and angry. Some have had to postpone planned retirements or find themselves with less money to pay high college-tuition bills. As painful as it has been, the “Crash of ‘08†has taught many business people and citizens some tough but valuable financial lessons that can serve them in the future. This Working Lunch begins with a discussion of bear markets—why they take place, why they are necessary, and—yes—why you should welcome them. It concludes with a list of the 8 key financial lessons learned from this experience, and also touch on how the current state of the economy affects the advertising and marketing industry.
