DMA’s State of the Arts Series, Season Two

The State of the Arts kicks off its second season at the Dallas Museum of Art. Each night introduces a pair of key influencers to the stage. From artists to music directors representing organizations like the Dallas Film Society and the Art Council for the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, the second season of the State of the Arts will leave you feeling proud to be living in a city that is booming with art and culture.

Bonnie Pitman, The Eugene McDermott Director of the DMA, introduces the series and KERA’s host of Anything You Ever Wanted to Know and Senior Producer of Think, Jeff Whittington, moderates each discussion. Whittington is a real natural up there.

I highly encourage you to make it out to one or more of these lectures. They are very enlightening as it gives you a behind the scenes look into how these organizations and groups think and work to create something special for residents and visitors to enjoy.

The price to attend the State of the Arts lecture is included in the price of a general admission ticket ($10 adults/$5 students) to the DMA. DMA members receive free admission. Reservations are recommended so reserve your seat online or by phone at 214-922-1818.
