Scottsdale Art Walk – First Major Art Event Since the Pandemic
On Thursday, October 8th, we attended the first high-profile art event since the coronavirus pandemic hit in March. Old Town Scottsdale came alive for the 46th annual Gold Palette ArtWalk hosted by the Scottsdale Gallery Association. Established in 1975, this exhibition is the nation’s oldest ArtWalk.
Galleries on Main Street opened their doors and served chocolate samples made by local chocolatier Cerreta Candy Company. The event also brought outdoor live music, and several of the galleries hosted live artist demonstrations.
The galleries featured a diverse collection of local and national paintings, sculptures, and installations. Here are our favorite pieces from the event.
