Here’s Johnny! Residents of the Overlook Hotel will be appearing in Dallas for Texas Frightmare Weekend 2020. Cast members from Doctor Sleep, such as Henry Thomas, Kyliegh Curran, Zahn McClarnon, and Alexandra Essoe are among the growing guest list for TFW 2020. For those that do not keep up with current cinematic news, Doctor Sleep is the sequel to Stephen King’s The Shining.

Fans may also remember Henry Thomas as Elliot from the blockbuster E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. Those of us old enough to have grown up with the movie are also in for a surprise. A mini cast family reunion will be taking place as Dee Wallace (Elliot’s mom) and Robert MacNaughton (Elliot’s brother) are also scheduled to appear.

Other notable names announced for the upcoming convention are horror icons Danny Trejo, Clive Barker, Emilio Rivera, Kane Hodder, and many more still to come. 

Next year, Texas Frightmare Weekend will celebrate its 15th anniversary. The convention is DFW’s largest horror convention. TFW 2020 is scheduled to take place May 1-3 at Hyatt Regency DFW Airport. For tickets and updates take a look at texasfrighmareweekend.com.
