Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The Scarborough Renaissance Festival Job Faire Nears
What better place for a part time job than in the Renaissance! The job faire for Scarborough Renaissance Festival 2019 takes place on Saturday February 23, 2019 at the Festival’s main offices located at 2511 FM 66 Waxahachie, TX 75167.
The Job Faire and interviews will take place between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm for part-time/seasonal positions during the eight weekends of the 2019 Scarborough Renaissance Festival which runs Saturdays, Sundays and Memorial Day Monday, April 6 – May 27, 2019.
Scarborough Renaissance Festival is looking for outgoing, energetic people 14 and older to fill the following positions:
Food & beverage sales, wait staff, restaurant host/hostess, restaurant/food service managers, alcoholic beverage sales, special event servers, souvenir sales, ticket sales, ticket takers/front entrance greeters, exit gate personnel, safety services, grounds crew, restroom attendants, kitchen help, cooks, dishwashers, exit surveyors, games personnel, and more. Many, but not all, positions require costuming.

Applicants are also asked to bring two forms of identification including a valid Driver’s License, ID, Social Security Card or Passport to the Job Faire. Specific work hours will be discussed at orientation on Saturday, March 30, 2019. There will also be a “Costume and dialect†class offered prior to orientation to determine costuming and familiarize employees with the Renaissance terminology used at the Festival.
The 39th Season of Scarborough Renaissance Festival opens April 6, 2019 and runs eight consecutive weekends (every Saturday and Sunday and Memorial Day Monday) through May 27, 2019, 10 am – 7 pm. Advance discount tickets are available now at SRFestival.com. Student Days 2019, Scarborough’s interactive Student Field trip day, is Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
