Santa’s elves at Gaylord Texan Resort are busy building an enormous and magical winter wonderland for visitors to enjoy this holiday season! The resort’s 15th annual Lone Star Christmas will feature a variety of holiday activities, live entertainment, and grand décor to celebrate the season!

For those unfamiliar with ICE! it is a unique Christmas themed event that combines ice and storytelling to create an amazing experience. ICE! is a walk-through holiday attraction kept at a chilly 9 degrees featuring two million pounds of hand‐carved, life-size ice sculptures and scenes, an ice bar (for ages 21 and up), five ice slides, a life-sized Nativity and more! Complimentary parkas are provided, but bring your mittens and hats!

Beginning November 9, 2018 – January 1, 2019, the biggest holiday event in Texas will feature:

• 2 million holiday lights decorating the resort
• 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
• A two-story tall, 12-lane snow tubing hill made with two million pounds of real snow
• A 6,000-square-foot outdoor ice skating rink
• A 54-foot-tall Christmas tree adorning the center atrium
• Over 30,000 feet of gingerbread for decorating
• Magical miniature trains throughout the property
• 25-foot-tall toy soldiers overlooking joyful families
• 2,300 decorated wreaths, 5,600 feet of garland,
• 15,000 festive ornaments, and 2,000 Poinsettias
