Margarita and Salsa Festival Shakes Up Waco August 25th
Make plans now to attend the biggest, coolest, hottest party of the summer – the 23rd Annual Margarita & Salsa Festival happening on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Extraco Events Center in Waco. All proceeds benefit the Scholarship Program at the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo.
The Margarita and Salsa Contests are back for the second year in a row. It’s free to enter! Find out who can concoct the best margaritas and crowd-pleasing salsa. Restaurants can compete in both the margarita and salsa divisions and individuals can compete in the margarita division. Sampling cups can be purchased for $10 to all age 21 and older and salsa sampling is free, while supplies last. Live music includes; John Baumann, Gary Allan, and Aaron Watson.
New this year – Check out the new Craft Beer Tasting during the Margarita & Salsa Contests starting at 6 p.m. Tasting cups can be purchased for $10 to all age 21 and older.
