4th Annual Oak Cliff Flamenco Festival Snaps into Town October 13th

Flamenco music and dance are riveting Spanish art forms that are the focus of a week long festival October 7-15, 2018, in the Oak Cliff and downtown area of Dallas. Spotlighting heart-pounding percussion, lightning fast footwork, and internationally renowned musicians, this festival celebrates a sophisticated and intense art form.

This fest also includes an open platform for students and the public to try flamenco dance for the first time, shows at various venues, music only performances, a dance and guitar workshop, an art show, paella cook-out, and the outdoor showing of flamenco-themed cinema.

Miguel Infante and Ricardo Diaz, the Festival’s artists in residence, will conduct dance and music workshops throughout the DFW area during their six-week residency, September 1 through October 15, 2018. The group will include Julia Alcantara and a singer from Spain, and both will available for private performances.
