Long a tradition in Mexican communities, tamales have become a part of the Thanksgiving and Christmas tradition in Texas, too.  Because of their labor-intensive preparation, tamales are normally only prepared for special occasions like Christmas.  All five Cantina Laredo locations in North Texas (excluding airport locations) will be offering house-made tamales to go, with pick up available every day with at least six hours notice.  Both chicken and beef tamales will be available at $16.95/dozen.
