Official 2017 Austin Film Festival Schedule – 75+ Films & Features

Austin Film Festival 2017

Last year at the Austin Film Festival I had the pleasure of working as the sponsorship coordinator in conjunction with The Long Center to feature the first preview of La La Land; a critically acclaimed film starting Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. Unfortunately I have a prior commitment, thus I will not be present at this year’s event.

The 2016 festival threw two up-and-coming screenwriters, Henry Jones and Geeta Malik into the spotlight as they took home the Best Screenplay award for Static and Dinner With Friends. The 2017 edition appears promising, highlighting two very talented writers in Martin McDonagh and André Aciman for their marquee films Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Call Me By Your Name.
