Japanese Garden Fall Festival with Dance Troupes, Martial Arts, Papermaking, and More Kicks Off Oct. 28th
Witness the vibrant change in seasons at the Japanese Garden Fall Festival, held at the picturesque Fort Worth Botanic Garden. A perfect locale, the garden invites attendees to bring the whole family for a day of Japanese dance troupes, martial arts demonstrations, papermaking and tea ceremonies set against a lush, enchanting natural backdrop.
Stroll along the meandering paths of the beautifully landscaped Japanese Garden as you listen to the sounds of koto music and taiko drumming. Watch the graceful Sakura Dancers, the deft use of Japanese swords, and the demonstration of martial arts.
Participate in the tea ceremony, try on a Kimono, peruse the bonsai and ikebana exhibits, treat yourself to reiki relaxation techniques, admire the works of watercolor artists, and shop among vendors selling jewelry, art work, and gifts. Enjoy culinary delights in the food court and shop in the gift store that features Japanese tea sets, sake sets, toys and books. Children’s activities also included.
