Fearing’s Restaurant Announces October 23rd Live Oak Session: Movies That Should Be Musicals
When Fearing’s teamed up with the “Movies That Should Be Musicals†team last April, the result was a sold-out live entertainment event that stimulated laughter and animated conversation over a memorable evening of food and drinks.
That first “Movies That Should Be Musicals†showcased the film, A League of Their Own. On the 23rd of this month, round-two of “Movies That Should be Musicals†will dazzle with a fun, specially curated look at the film Practical Magic, starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.
Creator/performer Brigham Mosley and director Janielle Kastner have written this second original cabaret-style musical to celebrate the spooky, earnest 90s delight that is Practical Magic. Selected scenes from the film will be interspersed with live music, dance and commentary as guests are entertained and inspired while enjoying the Live Oak Bar & Patio.
Fearing’s will extend its Monday Happy Hour to add to the evening’s appeal, with Happy Hour pricing set to run from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. For those who’d also like to dine before the event, Fearing’s dinner service begins at 6:00 p.m., and doors for the performance open at 7:30 p.m. for an 8 p.m. show.
