Oaktopia Music & Art Festival (Oaktopia), North Texas’ premier independent music and entertainment event, recently announced that they will be relocating to Dallas for the 2017 Festival. Originated in Denton, Texas, Oaktopia is a two day festival that showcases the best and most diverse experience in art and music. This festival combines chart-topping and critically acclaimed music acts with art, events, vendors and activities.

Oaktopia will be held in November at three indoor venues in Deep Ellum: The Bomb Factory, Trees, and Canton Hall. Keeping with the diversity of its offerings, Oaktopia 2017 headliners will include New York electro rock, dream pop duo Phantogram​ and Atlanta based rapper 21​ ​Savage​.

Featured in Rolling Stone’s 50 Most Important People in EDM, Canadian DJ A-Trak​ will perform B2B with “Harlem Shake” hitmaker Baauer​. Additionally, Alabama based rock and synth duo BoomBox​ join the lineup as well as rapper Azizi​ ​Gibson​ and the synth-heavy Com​ ​Truise​ will join the lineup. There will be more artist announcements within the weeks to come.
