Open Mic Naked Storytelling Event at Union Coffee on Oct. 6th – Theme is “Unpopular”

naked-stage

On Friday nights, The Naked Stage hosts storytelling and spoken word at Union Coffee. They encourage brave vulnerability by asking people to tell their stories without screens, notes or props: naked. On any given night, stories and poems will range from funny to inspiring to sentimental.

Next Friday, I will be hosting my very own curated set titled, Unpopular. Inviting people to share their personal stories of unpopular opinion. Or maybe you were considered unpopular when younger, but did something about it later in life. We want to hear your stories!

To participate as a storyteller, please contact me here. Speakers are to show up at 7:45pm the night of the event. Story times should be 5-8 minutes long. Don’t be shy! But for those that are, feel free to come observe.

Please note, there will be no actual unclothed people there. It is considered “naked” simply because storytellers cannot use notes, slides or props.
